Join the Sustainable Fashion Alliance for a discussion about how the fashion industry can (and should) redistribute power. Itβs no secret that communities of color have been living and working regeneratively for generations; from individual acts such as recycling to more community-based practices like mutual aid and regenerative agriculture. These practices are now being recognized by the mainstream as βnew solutionsβ under the catch-all term of βsustainability". Communities of color are negatively impacted the most by the effects of our extractive economy, they arenβt recognized by the mainstream for holding the solutions.Β In some cases, they are event prevented from being part of the conversation.
